🙏🌻Do you want to enhance your FRYOG Teaching qualification? If you hold a 200 hour Teaching Diploma you qualify for a place on my next 500 hour Yoga Teaching Training Course starting on 28th September 2024.
The workshop days give me the chance to bring my own influences and passions that... the Foundation and 200hr TT couldn’t cover, therefore designing the syllabus around the needs of the group. The course also provides support for the students experiences in their own classes 🙏🌻

🌻🌻Using the Benefits of Ayurveda post surgery 🌻🌻

I’ve never really suffered from constipation so you can imagine my discomfort when due to my post op medication my bowels became irregular, bloating became unbearable and the feeling of nausea set in.
This didn’t last ...long as I instantly referred to my knowledge of Ayurveda and its benefits.
Thankfully with in a few days I started to return to my regular self 🙏

🌻 I started taking 2 teaspoons of warm Ghee first thing in the morning and then again with 2 x capsules of Triphala in the evening. This was enough to get things moving naturally. Triphala is made up of 3 fruits, one being the Indian gooseberry, Amla.
I always use Ghee for cooking. Ghee which is clarified butter has a delicious taste which adds flavour to dishes but it also absorbs better into the body improving dryness, it also helps lower cholesterol.

🌻Nabhi Abhyanga… Abdominal Self Massage.
Massage the abdomen with warm oil around the naval in a broad, clockwise, circular motion, following the large intestine.

🙏🌻 The Power of Yoga and Ayurveda 🙏🌻

So yesterday I had a total hip replacement. Those of you who know me would know how frustrating this would be to me !
It’s been a whirlwind of a 5months since I was told I had a genetic severe degeneration of my right hip and a total ...replacement was the best option. You can imagine my worry and concern for my business as an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Yoga Teacher and Mentor but I soon began practising what I preach to my clients and students.

🙏🌻Firstly I learn’t to go with the flow (svadhistana energy) and learn to accept what was and slow down, something I really struggle to do .. “To be present “ At this time I was able to reflect on myself #svadhyaya (self study) and learn to be kind to myself, the practice of #ahimsa and to be honest with myself, the study of #satya . I soon became aware that my passion for Yoga and Ayurveda were giving me the tools to get me through this challenging time.
The practise of Pranayama soon became my pain relief, it also helped me through times of anxiety and fear and alongside Meditation I developed a strong mental focus and positive attitude.
I couldn’t be more grateful this wonderful gift of yoga and Ayurveda has given me.. less than 24 hours since my surgery I’m up and walking so before I know it I’ll be back on my teaching mat passing on this wonderful gift of Yoga 🙏🌻
I am extremely blessed with the amount of love and support I have received from my beautiful family and friends, students and a big thank you to my gorgeous qualified student teachers for keeping my studio open and looking after my beautiful students during this time 🙏🌻
